The Boiling Pot
Well, America is known as the land of the free and a boiling pot nation. There have been some concerns with immigration from Mexico, but for the most part, Americans are very welcoming of outsiders and understand that to be the land of the free, we have to treat all cultures with respect.
Some people characterize Americans as selfish and self-centered, but I think that’s far from the truth. If you look at other nations and how they use their religion and their race to enforce their rule over others, you see that America is actually very accepting and open.
I think there are many out there in my nation that forget about freedom and the requirements it has, but they are not the majority. America is a very socially liberal place to be at, and the fact that we have so many different lifestyles coexisting together is a testament to that.
